We went to Italy in 2019 for three weeks. We planned the itinerary ourselves flying into Rome and out of Venice. Linda did a great job of finding accomodations that were both nice and convienent. The train system reservation system (Trainline on Iphones) was easy to use and trains were always on time. Two different operators use the same train app. We did not rent a car. Towns we visited included Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Naples, Assisi, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre towns and finally Venice. We flew into Rome and out of Venice.
